2 days until blast off! The weather for this weekend looks nothing but beautiful with a chance of gorgeous. To top it off, we have a few last minute additions to the line up, with one of the most exciting being Sam Kininger (of Sam Kininger Band and formerly of Soulive) will be sitting in with THE CHRONICLES on Thursday, August 19, 2010 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. This is a funkariffic collaboration that is sure to make you get down.

We have made our selection from our artist submissions on Sonic Bids, with ZION JUDAH and BODEGA ROJA being selected. We want to thank everyone who submitted their work to us, and express how difficult it was to decide who would get the slots. There were many talented artists to select from, and it is a shame we can not choose everyone, but we sincerely congratulate the artists chosen, and encourage those who were not to keep on truckin'.

Other attractions that have been added include....

DRUM CIRCLE & WORKSHOPS - Musician Robert Korotky will be leading a drum circle around the community bonfire on Friday and Saturday nights, so bring your bongo, djembe, guitar, triangle or whatever you like to make noise with and express yourself through sound underneat the moonlit sky and warmth of the fire. Korotky will also be holding drumming workshops on Saturday and Sunday mornings where he will offer instruction to students of all ages. Korotky will be appearing at Festivals throughout the country all summer long, including Mountain Jam, All Good and others. We are proud to have the talented Robert Korotky as part of Bella Terra Festival in 2010, and can not wait to have the BT family welcome him to our world.

BELLA TERRA TO HOST AFTERPARTY TO THE PHISH SUMMER TOUR!

On Thursday, August 19, 2010 -- the fourth day we've added to the Bella Terra schedule to precede the original 3 dates -- there will not only be a Bella Terra earlybird preparty to kick off the weekend, but also an after party to cap off the 2010 Phish summer tour that ends one day earlier in nearby Wantagh, New York. The stage is set for Thursday night to be quite the start to a weekend that is sure to be one of the most exciting times in New England since Paul Revere's ride! For those of you who plan to be on Phish tour through the summer, save yourself some funds by grabbing your ticket NOW to an unprecedented finale to Phish's 2010 tour. For those of you who wait til the last minute to buy your tickets, hang on to your ticket stub from the August 18 Wantagh, NY Phish show and present it at the gate on Thursday, August 19, 2010 to get $5.00 bucks off your Bella Terra Festival 4 day pass.

TICKETS ON SALE NOW!!! Visit our ticket page to buy your early bird tickets now -- only $75 bucks for a 4 day pass, or $70 for a 3 day pass. There is a limited number of early bird tickets available, and we expect them to go quickly once we announce our second wave of headliners and other line up additions in the coming weeks. If you are one of the many who are strapped for cash and can't afford to attend as many festivals as you would like, and if you are a good worker, have initiative and any relevant skills or experience, then consider being a volunteer to attend Bella Terra. Also, we are recieving a high volume of vending inquiries, so if you are a vendor interested in Bella Terra, don't wait too long to get in touch.

We have officially announced our initial music lineup, featuring Soulive, The Jerry Garcia Band w/ Melvin Seals, Dub Is A Weapon, Rubblebucket, Psylab, Domino Theory, Maaze, The Alchemystics, Chris Merenda & The Wheel, Rev Tor, Longview Gunslingers, Infinite August, DJ Miss Sabado, Unexplained Bacon, The Deadbeats, Shokazoba, Turtle Soup, BA Dario, Otherwise, Jeff Bujak, The Problemaddicts, High Peaks, Rob Sanzone, The Aposoul, and Billy Keane & The Misdemeanor Outlaws. Stay tuned for sure as there is another wave of headliners yet to be released, along with additional musicians and  a variety of artistic entertainment to satisfy every morsel of creativity and curiosity in your body! Early bird tickets to be up for sale soon - 4 day or 3 day passes available. 

The Outside The Lines paint crew (who created the fine mural that is featured in the background of this website) will be at it again in 2010, returning to Bella Terra to empty spray cans and immortalize Bella Terra Festival through graffiti art for a second year in a row. 

We have created new facebook and twitter accounts for this year, and our myspace is still the same from last year,

Bella Terra 2010 increased to 4 days! Bella Terra will be adding an extra day of entertainment and fun, starting the festival on Thursday, August 19, 2010, one day after the final show of the Phish tour in Wantagh, New York -- a short drive to Bella Terra in Stephentown to keep the party going!

Stay tuned! Initial lineup announcement to be released later this week! Ticket sales will begin immediately after the initial lineup is announced. Thanks to everyone for your patience! It will be worth the wait, we promise.

Strangers Helping Strangers will be conducting a non perishable food drive at Bella Terra 2010. Do your part to combat hunger and homelessness and bring a donation to drop off at the SHS booth.
